His coaching line is not a “local story on the side.” From the first strikes on Budva’s hard courts he guided a player through a serious European framework — the academies of Riccardo Piatti and Günter Bresnik, junior coordination at the level of Renzo Furlan — into the professional calendar. In parallel he grew as a coach himself: learning from strong schools, transferring structure rather than improvisation.
The public result of that line is visible in the career of Branko Đurić: junior peak (ITF No. 6), the Wimbledon 2023 boys’ doubles final, ATP career-high No. 448, an ATP main-draw debut at the Belgrade Open, Davis Cup for Serbia.
